
The Los Angeles Police arrested a 21-year-old Loyola Marymount University student in after he under-went an online threat to shoot people on campus. Police arrested Carlos Huerta, a senior student at Loyola, for the purpose of investigation after making criminal threats. Huerta was taken into custody last Saturday night nearby his apartment on campus.
The unknown threat, was made on a chart board which was named Juicycampus.com. It was found from the officials that, the threat to the police was reported at 11.30 hrs on Saturday. Calls made to Loyola were not immediately returned.Investigators were eventually able to determine that the threat was from the computer registered to Huerta. Under the same issue,
On Friday, an Australian man was arrested after he posted a message threatening a shooting attack at The Grove shopping center near Beverly Hills. Jarrad Willis, 20, of Melbourne, was arrested after Los Angeles police detectives traced to Australia the address of his Internet provider.
