The designer Chen Feijun and Zhao Bin made this Pioneer shoe which converts kinetic energy into a electrical energy and it also had a headlight at the front face of the shoe. Most probably this is the idea based on the plan of mechanical movement of walking can converted into the electric power within the shoe. Thus the electric power will be stored in a battery sole part of the shoe. This electric power charge can be used for powering a headlight for 12hrs. It means this will be for a night and after the charge is over it can be regained by means of walking.

More than this the material used in making the surface is waterproof and allows the user with ventilation. Sole of the shoe is made of waterproof rubber which is solid and absorb shock and will helps in walking more comfortable. This material can be helpful in protecting battery and circuit, with Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology. Headlight is small in size and low in power consumption and provides you a good source of light. The maximum scope of the light is 1.5m in front and a bulge rubber in the sole prevents from wearer kicking light itself. Only there is one button to control the light switch and the button is pressed to turn the light and also for turning it to off.
