As we know, you know the importance of the Wireless-N 802.11n Networking Support. We even know that some of you don’t know to enable the Wireless N in the latest Operating Systems like Windows Vista and Windows 7 because, we just came to know about enabling this feature. Usually, the Wireless-N 802.11n Networking Support will be enabled by default. If you want to play with it by enabling or disabling, please follow the following steps.
Enabling and disabling the feature is just like eating an Ice Cream.

In this article, we have given the steps with an assumption that a Wireless-N (802.11n) network adapter is installed in the computer.
Now, let’s start.
• As usual, begin with the Control Panel. Click on Start Button and then select Control Panel.
• Now, select the System and Maintenance option from the opened Control Panel Window.
• After that, you have to choose the Device Manager from the System Maintenance Window.
• Remember, you have to enter the Administrator Password, if you’re prompted.
• Now, you feel difficulty with the above steps; just press the “Windows Key” and the “R Key” to open the “Run Command Window”.
• Then, press “devmgmt.msc” and click on the OK tab, to simplify your work to open the Device Manager of the Computer.
• Now, you have to double click on the Network Adapters category to expand the selection.
• After expanding, just pick the appropriate Wireless Adapter up and then select the Action from the Menu Bar.
• Now, select the Properties from the Action Menu.
• Instead, you can also open the Properties tab, simply by right clicking on the appropriate Driver and selecting the Properties option.
• Now, open the Advanced Tab from the Properties Window.
• Here you’ve to manually select the 802.11n Mode then click the Down Arrow and start playing to enable or disable.

• The name of the Wireless N in the image differs from the Computer to Computer.
• Then, the actual name of the Wireless depends upon the Wireless Device installed in the Computer.
• After choosing the right one, click on the OK button.
• Now, you can close the Device Manager and Control Panel Window as you’ve successfully enabled the Wireless N in the Computer.
