The Wall Street Journal says that Google has planned to unleash its Web-meets-television software to some 3,000 developers at the Google I/O conference, which runs May 19-20 in San Francisco. Moreover, this Google TV Software may come in an embedded format for the new generation of Internet-ready TVs, game consoles, set-top boxes, and Blu-ray players. Some of the sources say that it could succeed, Google TV can bring an advanced experience of HDTV into a giant Web Terminal in the style of Smartphone style apps that pull in the Cloud-based content to perform a myriad of tasks.

Besides, the other sources say, Google has made partnered with Intel, Sony and Logitech in the initiative of the Google TV. The first consumer product from the Google is Google TV-branded set-top box powered by Intel’s Atom Processor.
