Tips: How to create and edit alpha channel masks in Photoshop

In this article, let’s discuss about creating a new alpha channel and then using the paint tools, editing tools and the filters to create a mask from the alpha channel. Moreover, you can also save an existing selection in an Adobe Photoshop image as an alpha channel that appears in the Channels Panel. Now, follow the steps provided below to create an alpha channel mask using the current options.
•    First, it is required to click the New Channel button at the bottom of the Channels Panel.
•    Then, paint on the new channel to mask out the image areas.
•    After that, it is required to select areas of the image before you create the channel for the mask.
•    Now, you can paint on the channel to refine the mask.
Now, let’s try creating an alpha channel mask and set options
•    It is required to Alt-click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) the New Channel button at the bottom of the Channels panel, or choose New Channel from the Channels panel menu.
•    Then, specify options in the New Channel dialog box.
•    After that, paint on the new channel to mask out image areas.

Tips: Run Windows Memory Diagnostic Process in Windows 7

In earlier version of the Windows Operating System, there were lesser possibilities to diagnose the peripherals of the computers. However, Windows 7 is an exception as it brings you the feature to diagnose the memory of the computer. Now, let’s discuss about using the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool feature. If possible problems are detected by Windows for the computer’s memory, it will prompt you to run the Windows Memory Diagnostics process. If you click this notification about this possible memory problems, it is required to choose between two options for when to run the Memory Diagnostics Process.  If you’re preferring the first option to run the process immediately, you should save all of your work as all the opened applications will be automatically closed. Then, the Memory Diagnostics Tool will start running automatically when you restart Windows. The process may take several minutes to finish checking the status of computer’s memory. Once the process is completed, Windows will be automatically restarted. If the tool detects any errors, it is confirmed that the issue is memory related and you need to contact your computer manufacturer for the information about fixing them. Most of the times, the memory chips in the computer or other hardware will be indicated.

IANA, the international body responsible for distributing internet address has completed its final allocation of IPv4 addresses. The IPv4 has been the primary communication protocol for the internet for more than 20 years. This final allocation marks the end of an era to the extent the brief history of the internet that can be categorized this way. This considers the rapid proliferation of personal computers, smartphones, networked appliance and other connected devices around the world as four billion IPv4 addresses have been already exhausted.
In order to outline a clear path of the next generation Internet Protocol, IPv6, including Microsoft most of the major technology companies have been working behind the screen for years. Although the complete migration will take years, the vast majority of people will never notice the transition. Microsoft has worked as a member of Internet Society (ISOC) – and more generally the Internet community – to invest in and ensure that there is a seamless transition from IPv4 to IPv6.

On June 8, Bing will enable world-wide IPv6 connectivity to Bing.com for the purpose of a one-day test. If you’ve the IPv6 Internet Capabilities, you will be able to access this new method of connectivity automatically.
