Google: New Sad Tab Page of Chrome

If you’re a regular user of Chrome, you might have noticed the built-in sad tab page that states “aw, snap!” message with “he’s dead, Jim!”. Now, this message has been replaced with “Something caused this page to be killed , either because the operating system ran out of memory, or for some other reason. To continue, press Reload or go to another page.” To see the page, just type about:kill in the address bar after opening a new tab in the Chrome browser.

Extension: Google Chrome Keep My Opt Outs

Google has developed a personal extension called Keep My Opt-Outs for Chrome. It is used to disable online ad personalization via cookies. This service is able to opt-out of advertisement by companies that have adopted the industry privacy standards for online advertising. Therefore, you can still see personalized advertisement on the web. You can run a test on the organization’s website to see which companies are currently customizing ads for the browser. If you delete the cookies regularly, it will reduce the likelihood of personalized ads. This Chrome extension basically opts out of all personalized ads of participating companies that may affect the advertisement that is displayed on websites. This extension will be constantly updated for instance with opt out code for companies that recently adopted the industry privacy standards.

Tips: How to partition the hard drive using the shrink volume feature

In this article, let’s discuss about creating a new partition by changing the size of an existing partition on the hard drive of the computer. You can partition the hard drive using the Shrink feature in the Disk Management window to shrink an existing partition or volume to create unallocated disk space. Therefore, you can create a new partition from the unallocated space without performing the recovery.
Now, let’s go to the steps.
•    In order to perform these steps, you should log in as the administrator of the computer.
•    If you wish you can use any software to partition the hard drive.
•    Click on the control panel window and select System and Maintenance or System and Security.
•    Then, select Administrative Tools.
•    Here, you will be prompted for an administrative password or a User Account Control settings. Therefore, enter the password or click continue.
•    Now, you can view the Computer Management window in the Administrative Tools window.
•    You may also right click on the computer icon and select manage.

Tips: How to change forgotten password without using password reset disk, password hint and reinstalling operating system

In this article, we are going to discuss about changing the forgotten password of a Windows 7 computer. Usually, if you forget the password of the computer, it is required to re-install the operating system. Otherwise, you can use the password hint or the password reset disk. If you don’t have any of them and you still want to change the password of the computer without re-installing the operating system or performing a recovery, go through this article completely. We hope this will help you. Actually, the same situation happened to us. Unfortunately, we have forgotten the password of this computer as we were keep changing it. We’ve googled and binged, but of no use. We have spent almost three days to find a solution out in spite of the finger print scanner. As usual, we have tried changing the password from the control panel. However, the computer prompted us to enter the old password to create a new one and didn’t accept the finger print as shown on the below image.

Then, we got fed up of this. After a long time, we came to know the use of the finger print again. It has successfully let us create a new password for Windows login without using the password reset disk, password hint or performing the recovery. Now, let’s discuss about changing the password of the computer.
