If you already have a Google account, no problem. If you’re going to create a new Google account in the US, you have to enter your birthday. If you select any other country than the US, the birthday field will be removed and you’ll not have to enter this confirmation. The Google’s page for creating a new account is famous, as it required only the E-mail Address and your country. Therefore, it is strange to see that the users from the US have to enter their birthdays in order to create a new Google account.
The terms and the conditions of the Google say that, “you may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with Google”. This is the message you’ll get if you enter a date like 4/28/2009.
