For a size of a few millimetres, the new micro-batteries are powerful enough to jump start a car battery and then quickly charge the cell phone. Researchers from the University of Illinois have developed the micro batteries which can be used to drive compact electronic devices and new applications for radio communications. The micro batteries are so good that they can even out power the super capacitors. The results were published in ‘Nature Communications’ in the April 16 issue. It has a connectivity option with 4G LTE, 3G, WI-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It runs on the Android 4.2 (jelly bean) operating system.

They include a built in sports clip with a handy fitness tracker which provide an incentive for people who want to achieve both short and long term fitness goals. It has an easy grip rubberized surface with a bright easy-to-read OLED display and is compact in size. It is ultra light weight and has great controls which can be operated even when the user is on the move. 
Google has taken the initiative with respect to a humanitarian cause like the one that happened in Boston. It is a software tool to help find friends and relatives through search engines. Google has set up “Google Person Finder” for Boston which gives access to two buttons, I’m looking for someone or I have information about someone. Nearly 3,300 people are utilizing the tool for finding their inmates. The tool is an application of the web that allows the user to know the status of disaster victims. As part of ‘Google.org Project’ the software provides information for shelters, injured victims, condition of roads and power availability. The person’s profile along with photograph is stored as index in Google Person Finder.
